Oval racing in slow and fast karts on the slick track at Go Kart World. Competition is fierce with lots of regulars! Only $10 per race or less if you buy tickets in bulk. The fast karts have full cages, 5-point seat belts and removable steering wheels (you need a go kart world competition license to drive these cars, an easy but time consuming process).

Competitive races in the "fast" Eurokarts (about 42 mph). Arrive early to ensure a position. Also if you have never been to Go Kart World you will need to "qualify" and get a race license. This is a really easy process for anyone with a real drivers license but takes some time, so come even earlier if this is you. Races cost $20 each if you buy tickets one at a time but there are volume discounts.

Hey group...the last time we were at Anaheim it was a BLAST! They just changed their track layout and this new one looks great! With the new back straight-away which stretches for almost the length of a football field! At 220ft in length, or roughly 70 yards, the back straight gives racers a chance to explore the top speed of the electric karts. K1 Speed is a revolution in indoor karting, with its award winning centers, European style racing, emission free electric karts and professionally designed all asphalt race tracks. Hey Group, This is just an event for those who want a more intense form of competition. Race a Grand Prix Format on the Reverse Supertrack. Registration at 8:45 am - Race Start at 9:00 am. Refer to the following from K1 Website: "Are you the best driver at K1 Speed? Come find out by participating in K1 Speed?s Challenge GP. This fun and competitive event is held a different day of the month at the Carlsbad, Irvine and Ontario tracks. You can test your skills on any of these unique and challenging reverse courses, only available on Challenge GP race days. Each event offers 2 full qualifying sessions, and a final race for position. The first three to cross the finish line in all final heats will receive Trophies. In addition you can rack up the points and win great prizes at the end of the sixth month season." I realize that this event is not for all, but some members suggested that I organize this and see what outcome we have. The fee for this event is at $65.00 which I know is expensive but well worth the sweat and sore muscles. Afterwards, I plan on heading to Dave and Buster's at the Ontario Mills Malls for an early brunch and welcome those at the event to join me! http://k1speed.com

K1 Speed is a revolution in indoor karting, with its award winning centers, European style racing, emission free electric karts and professionally designed all asphalt race tracks. As soon as you walk in the difference is apparent, with up to 80,000 sqft of race track, 10,000 sqft lobby over looking the tracks, Live Scoring system, Corporate meeting rooms, the Pit Cafe and games area. The karts are the best available in the world, with 20HP they reach speeds of 40mph, much faster than gas karts and without the smog. They are fully computerized for the best in safety, with remote controls operated by the pit crew to reduce speeds or even put to a stop if necessary. Also, I would like to organize a race package with one of the K1 facilities for the month of June. We need a minimum of 8 racers to get the package going with a 50% deposit down for a guaranteed slot (K1 Speeds requirement). I will follow up with a more detailed message via email. K1 Speed is the largest indoor karting facility on the west coast in a 100,000 sq.ft. building. There is 80,000 sq.ft of track area giving you 3000ft long of pure racing. Professionally designed and made of asphalt to maintain the same feeling and performance as an outdoor track. A fine facility for Indoor Racing. Since our last visit both tracks were redesigned and will be a great challenge for us to try out! After our racing event I plan on heading to the Elephant Bar for some food and drinks.
